"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey eveything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

St. Luke's takes Christ's Great Commission seriously, and we work with many other organizations as we go forth to baptize and teach new disciples in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit throughout the world.  As a part of the South Carolina Synod, we partner with our companion synods throughout the world, which include the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Japan Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the Iglesia Evangelica Luterana de Colombia. In addition to this, one of St. Luke's members, Reverend Dean Hoeltz, is an ELCA missionary in Japan, whom we support.
