FALL KICKOFF FOR KIDS

Children in K-5th Grades are welcome to join us for JAM (Jesus and Me) on Sunday, September 24, at 4PM in the Fellowship Hall. We will have fun games, songs, and a service project! 

FREE EYE EXAMS FOR CHILDREN

The Lions Club will give free eye exams on Sunday, October 1 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Church Library. The exams take about 1/2 minute each. Bring your children in to make sure they are seeing clearly for school.

RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE

Sunday, October 1 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Blood is needed now more than ever after the hurricanes. You can schedule an appointment online at:  www.redcrossblood.org and enter stlukessum

OKTOBERFEST

 

St. Luke's will hold an  Oktoberfest at Dorchester Boat Club on Saturday, September 30, at 4PM. We will have German music, food, and a remembrance of the Reformation. Contact the church office to make reservations. 

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Bring your cat, dog, hamster, turtle, fish in a bowl, or any other type of pet that you own to church on Saturday, October 7, at 10AM. We will have a St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals on the front lawn of the church.  All creatures are welcome!

TAI CHI

Join us on Monday evenings in the Narthex of St. Luke's at 6:30 p.m. This is open to  the community and is led by Charlie Holman and Karen Bnoventure.

TRAINING EVENTS

Darkness to Light, Stewards of Children (for the protection of our children -- all those working with Children and Youth must take this training every three years). Contact Karen Schultz for more information. To take the training On-Line go to D2L.org and follow prompts to on-line training. Please print your certificate and return to Karen Schultz or church office.
